The Monroe County Sheriff Reserve is a law enforcement agency comprised completely of volunteers who support the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office by augmenting officers to fill shifts due to staff shortages and or special assignments. The Sheriff’s Reserve is a not-for-profit organization which raises its own money for training and equipment and saves the county money by volunteering hours that would normally go towards full-time employee overtime pay. We are committed to making Monroe County a safer community and saving the local tax payers (you) money!
